Why Use Carte Blanche Moving Versus Traditional Long Distance Movers

  • We will come by your house and review the scope of work and provide you with a fixed quote for your move.  It will not change when we arrive at your new location.
  • We utilize the same movers to load and unload your move.  Many long distance movers hire contractors at the new location to unload.  When that happens there is no accountability for damage or setup knowledge.
  • When the new location is longer distances (outside of Texas 10 or more hours) in many cases we can have you set up in 2 or 3 days versus weeks to month for traditional long distance movers.  When we load we take off for the new location so you can be in the comfort of your new place sooner.
  • We never utilize brokers or other carriers to do our work, eliminating the risk of add on surprise charges at new location.
  • We do not add on additional charges from original quote at end of move.  The only exception would be if you changed the scope of work and that would be finalized prior to the move.

Steve got his start working for his grandparents furniture business during the summers in middle school and high school.


He later served  6 years in the military and is a proud veteran.  After the military he worked in various contruction and logistics/trucking industries while atttending  college.


He graduated with a bachelors degree in accounting which led to him getting his CPA.  He worked in corporate finance for the beginning of his corporate career.  


He became President of a large multinational manufacturing and distribution company (partners with Kohler Industries) for his last 13 years in the corporate world.


He ultimately left corporate America to begin building his own businesses with a large retail building products company and then the moving services sector with Carte Blanche Moving.
