Yes we have the required general auto liability and cargo insurance as required by the Texas DMV for household movers.  Make sure to ask any mover you use if they have those, many do not.

Generally all long distance moves are a fixed price based on items included and scope of the original walk through and quote.  The only exception would be where you change the scope of the original quote and that would be changed and agreed upon prior to move.  We do not broker out moves and the price is the price.  We will not show up on move day and add another $10k like some of the long distance brokers do.  

If you are packing make sure all boxes are packed and labeled  and try to utilize small boxes as much as possible.  This would include decorations, kitchen items, closets, lamps, etc.    This will make move day go much smoother and quicker.  If we are the packers you don't really have anything to prepare as we do it all.

Yes we do that as part of the regular service and no upcharge, just the time it takes to accomplish the task, if hourly, otherwise it is included in the fixed quote.

Yes as a courtesy we do that for you.  We do not disconnect or reconnect gas appliances, those will require licensed contractors.

Our movers, who are the best in the business, work for us and we do not solicit day laborers for work.  The typical long distance moving companies hire day contractors to unload, and many times to load.

On long distance moves when close enough can be unloaded and set up the next morning.  As the length of the move increases it can be the 2nd or 3rd day in most cases.   We will have you set up in your new location with appliances hooked up and bedrooms set up.  When the moves are 3 or 4 days drives then the time to set up increases.  We compare this to the typical long distance movers of weeks to month to arrive.

You can leave clothes in but take out anything heavy, loose or valuable.

Yes we are registered with the TX DMV #009860039C and the US DOT #2635175.  Ask your movers if they are approved and registered moving companies.  There are many movers out there that are not registered and have no insurance.  You can look movers up here Texas Department of Motor Vehicles

The refrigerator/freezer is the last thing we load and first thing we unload.  If you take out the refrigerator loose items and we can typically transport with frozen items in.  When long distance make sure to empty all items and leave door open for a day to thaw out.

On long distance moves we require a deposit prior to the actual move.  Upon arrival at new location we require the balance to be paid in full prior to us unloading.  You can pay the team lead by credit card, check, cash, Zelle or Venmo. They will provide you with a copy of the receipt for services.  There is a 3% surcharge for credit card payments.

Yes we bring the right number and size of vehicles, floor protection, furniture pads, stretch wrap, dollies, tape at no additional charge.  We also bring TV boxes and bed bags that you can purchase.  One or more of the movers will have the necessary tools required for the job.

Our standard arrival times are between 8:30AM - 9:30AM unless prior arrangements made.  On long distance moves it can change depending on the needs of the client.

Yes we provide for packing services and unpacking services.  We provide these servcies on an hourly basis and will  include that in the estimate of work for you.

On long distance moves the move quote is the move quote unless you add to the scope of work prior to move?  We do no add on like many traditional long distance moving companies.

iI covers the standard mover reimbursement of .60 cents per lb as required by the Texas DMV for household moving companies and is what is standard for all moving companies in the industry.   If you want additional or full coverage you should get that prior to the move day. 

Yes we have discounts for those categories and will be included in your estimate.

yes, all furniture and appliances will be wrapped with a furniture pad and stretch wrap.  Not all movers do that but we find this is the best way to protect your belongings during transport.
